Hang on to your hats, folks, because I’m about to give you some shocking news: Senate Democrats have backed down from their opposition to Roland Burris, disgraced Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s choice to replace Barack Obama as senator from Illinois. And the Democrats are usually SO firm. Go figure.
