How will he know he’s no longer president?

Former prosecuter Vincent Bugliosi has a bone to pick with George Bush, here. Among the evidence Bugliosi produces in convicting Bush of being one of the most callous president’s in history is this remarkable statistic:

So the bottom line is that of a total of approximately 2,535 days as president, most of them during a time of war, Bush spent all or a part or 908 days, an incredible 36 percent of his time, on vacation or at retreat places.

So my question is, once Bush is no longer president, how will he even know? He’s never in Washington anyway.
